"The Devil wears Zara".

The Devil Wears Zara.

¿A qué? Por supuesto, ¡de compras!

Everything has an end: Summer, coming home late, waking up past midday...But 10 more days left to enjoy, so live it up! (and, if you have the chance to go somewhere, everything gets better). And yes, that's exactly what I did, with my best friend Cecilia, last week: We went to Tenerife.  "Let's go shopping", we said.

I won't talk widely on this post, but I want to show you everything I've bought. I also want you to know all the shops I went in; what I felt when I was there ( Actually, I din't want to come back); and the service and personal attention I received.

It's really hard to chose the first shop I'm going to talk you about, but I suppose I will start from the beginning. So, I'm going to write about The Body Shop.

When we got to the shopping center and went in, there were big lights everywhere (they reminded me to Alicia Keys singing "New York"); a Marron Five's song as background music; and a lot of people wandering around. My friend and I decided to spend the whole day there- we aren't going there soon. So, we saw it and we fell in love with this shop: The Body Shop.

The Body Shop was a small, but beautiful shop. It reminded me to a candy store that I used to go in my Grandma's hometwon. Apart from that, the shea, coconut and chocolate smell was delicious. I was overwhelmed, and an orgasm almost killed me (I know I may sound rude, but its true). I realy liked the  shop's organization: it was messy, but, even so, everything had its own place. On the right side, you could find some bath and body hair care lotions; on the left side, body butters; and, some creams with special prices (special offer). I have to say that I felt good there, everything was so perfect and I didn't want to leave without buying anything. That's why I picked a Shea Body Butter (I'll write a whole post about it), which only cost me 2 euros.

When we left The Body Shop, we went to Mango (I have to say that I really like the new collection for this Autumn with Miranda Kerr; and yes, I found all the prints that I've told you about on my previous post), Zara Home (someday, I would like to have a nice place- big house, please- in minimalism style and some fernitures from Zara); and, where I almost spent all my money, Pull and Bear and Zara.

I have to admit that I fell in love with these shops. Why? Because you could find an "area" for Kids, women and Men, with everything you see on their webs.

I bought a Pull and Bear botton down shirt. I've been looking for it here in La Palma for so long, but I wasn't able to find my size. I really loved the embroidery, so I was desperate for buying it. So, when I saw the t-shirt there, I almost cried, I was very excited. Also, I bought Slim- fit jeans. I can't deny that I felt really lucky (I know, I'm too materialistic, but I don't care).

En Zara, ¿qué decir? Sí, me he flipado, y mucho.

I really freaked out in Zara. It's one of my favrite shops and I can't criticize it. When you walked in, you could smell the glamour; it has a wide space; everything was perfect there, with no decay. The service and personal attention was superb. I can't complain, really. And what did I buy? A long, long list:

  • Two beautiful T-shirts, made in Egypt. One of them has a Paisley print on the neck. The other one, blue cuffs.
  • Pink Skinny jeans.
  • A white coat (like a blazer), with a blue handkerchief on the pocket. It only cost 20 euros. Yes, it was cheaper than the initial price: 80 euros.
  • A gray suede shoes and toes in black.
  • And my favorite accessory: a leopard print scarf. I have to talk about it later.

Ok, as I was telling you, the "Zara Scarf" is my favorite accessory. When I walked in for the firt time at Zara on Tuesday and saw it, I fell madly in love with it. Everyone who knows me personally knows that I hate this print (I mean, the leopard print), but this one is really beautiful and simple. This scarf was made for being worn with black, gray or tones like that. At the beginning, I didn't buy it because it cost 20 euros, and my friend Cecilia didn't let me. But I bought it... and I don't regret it now. So, here it is:

Apart from that, I bought a burgundy sweater at C&A; a L'óreal hydratant cream; the new "30 seconds to Mars' album" and two books: "Sex and the City" and "The Distant Hours". I also went to the movies (you should see "Wold War Z", it's such an amazing film) and visited the whole city. I think I fell in love with Tenerife. I want to go there soon.

  Kiss,Kiss.
