La verdad es que es muy difícil escoger las colecciones de las que hablar, por eso he decidido dedicar algunos posts solo a las imágenes de los mejores desfiles. Por este motivo, aquí les dejo algunas de las fotos de la jornada de hoy en la NYFW. He de decir que me encanta, es una de mis diseñadoras favoritas ¿Estáis preparados para ver a Carolina Herrera?

    Kati Stern, este es el nombre de la dueña de las majestuosas manos que han creado la exquisita colección de primavera 2014 de Venexiana. Debo decir que sin duda alguna, ha merecido la pena la larga espera (debido a la diferencia de hora). Nunca había visto un desfile de Venexiana, y me arrepiento mucho, solo de pensar todas las colecciones que me he perdido, me dan ganas de llorar... pero bueno más vale tarde que nunca.

   Kati Stern, this is the name of the owner of the majestics hands that have created the exquisite coleccion of spring 2014 of Venexiana. I should say that without a doubt it worthed it the long wait (because of the USA time).

I heve never seen a Venexiana fashion show, and I'm so ashame of that, just thinking of all the collection that I've missed, makes me want to cry...but better later than never.

"Monique Lhullier | NYFW".

   Un estilo clásico, pero introduciendo las transparencias de la temporada, y con prendas en tonos dorados, rosa palo y hombreras bordadas en plata, es lo que ha presentado la diseñadora filipina,Monique Ihullier, en la tercera jornada de la NYFW. 

   A classic style, but introducing the transparencies of the season, and garments in gold, pale pink and silver embroidered epaulettes, is what ​​the Filipino designer, Monique Ihullier,  has shown us on the third day of the NYFW.

"Hunger of Lacoste | NYFW"

  El símbolo de Lacoste ilumina la amplia pasarela en el tercer día de la vibrante NYFW. A las espera del desfile, me pregunto si también, en esta colección encontraré los estampados florales, el tartán o los flecos y transparencias que tanto he visto en las colecciones de las "casas" que han presentado con anterioridad. 

   El decorado es simple, pero encantador: parecen edificios hechos con rejillas de aluminio. Toda una "conmemoración" a la ciudad de Nueva York.

   Lacoste symbol illuminates the wide catwalk on the third day of the vibrant NYFW . While I'm waiting for the show to begin, I wonder if I will find in this collection floral prints, tartan, transparencies or the fringes and so that I have seen in the collections of the other "houses".

     The decor is simple, but charming: it looks like buildings, made with aluminum grilles. A clear "memorial" to New York City.

"2nd Day | NYFW".

New York Fashion Week (Day II)

   Un día más, la ciudad de Nueva York se transforma en el "bufé" de la moda. ¿El plato del día? La soberbia de la belleza y, como postre, la elegancia de las nuevas colecciones que azotan, en este segundo día, a la New York Fashion week. Para ser sincero, me encantaría escribir sobre los quince shows que se tienen pensados para hoy viernes, pero me es imposible. Aún así, prometo seguir con la línea de análisis de tres-cuatro colecciones aquí, en Cattleya, como ya habéis podido ver en el post anterior. Si no podéis estar en Nueva York (algún día, por obra y gracias de Dior, iré- estoy seguro), no os preocupéis: yo os traigo a Nueva York. Así que relajaos y disfrutad de los desfiles de Zimmermann,Nicole Miller y Noon by Noor, al igual que algún pequeño comentario de otros desfiles.

   One more day, New York City becomes the "buffet" of fashion. What is the dish of the day? The pride of beauty and, for dessert, the elegance of the new collections that hit, this second day, the New York Fashion week. To be honest, I'd like to write about the fifteen shows that are orgaized for this Friday, but I can't. Anyway, I promise that I will show you three or four collections here in Cattleya, as you have already seen in the previous post. If you can not be in New York (one day, if Dior helps me, I will, I am sure), don't  worry or panic: I will bring  New York to all of you, guys. So enjoy yourselves with  Zimmermann, Nicole Miller and Noon by Noor fashion shows, and some mini comments on other collections.

"Humans Hunger For Beauty | NYFW".

 

New York Fashion Week

   Hoy es un día especial para los amantes de la moda. Soberbio, perfecto y excitante  Comienza un mes de no parar, de fashion weeks y de pura moda (moda pura y dura). ¡Por fin! La verdad es que mis ojos necesitaban ver la belleza hecha prendas. Y, ¿qué mejor comienzo que con la New York Fashion Week? Desde hoy, día cinco, hasta el próximo doce de septiembre, podremos ver como la vibrante Nueva York se transforma en el escenario del glamour y la perfección más ególatra. Así que, ¡disfrutemos de esta semana!

   Today is a very special day for  fashion lovers: a superb, perfect and exciting  day. In September, it starts a non-stopping month of fashion weeks and "pure fashion". Yay! The truth is that my eyes are starving of beauty. And what is better than the New York Fashion Week to start? From today, September 5th, until next week (September 12th), we will be able to see how the vibrant New York becomes the scene of "glamor" and "perfection". So, let's start watching what this week has for us!

   Desde las nueves de esta mañana (horario  estadounidense), hemos podido gozar de los desfiles (maravillosos en líneas generales- dejadme adelantaros) de cuatro marcas  bastante dinámicas e innovadoras: Bcbgmaxazria; Nicholas K; Supima; y Tadashi Shoji. Especialmente, y antes de pasar a analizar cada una de las presentaciones, os recomiendo que veáis- sobre todo- los desfiles de Bcbgmaxazria y Tadashi Shoji (en serio, debéis echarle una ojeada).

   The New York Fashion Week started early on Wednesday morning, at 9am (U.S Time) and we were able to enjoy the fashion shows (they were beautiful- just let me say) of four dynamic and innovative brands: BCBGMAXAZRIA, Nicholas K, Suprima, and Tadashi Shoji. Especially, before I start writing  about each of the four shows, I really  recommend  you to see BCBGMAXAZRIA and Tadashi Shoji's shows (seriously, you should take a look at them).

The Devil Wears Zara.

   Todo llega a su fin: las vacaciones, el no irse a la cama, el despertarse sin preocupaciones, el no saber qué hora es... Pero hay que disfrutar de los últimos días que tenemos de libertad (si nos damos una pequeña escapada mucho mejor). Y eso es, justamente, lo que he hecho yo la semana pasada: irme con mi mejor amiga Cecilia a Tenerife. ¿A qué? Por supuesto, ¡de compras!

   Everything has an end: Summer, coming home late, waking up past midday...But 10 more days left to enjoy, so live it up! (and, if you have the chance to go somewhere, everything gets better). And yes, that's exactly what I did, with my best friend Cecilia, last week: We went to Tenerife.  "Let's go shopping", we said. 

   En esta entrada, no voy a hablar extensamente de cada producto, si no que, más bien, haré un repaso general de las tiendas que pisé, y los productos que compré en cada una de ellas; así como las impresiones que sentí (el deseo de no regresar) y la atención que recibí. 

   I won't talk widely on this post, but I want to show you everything I've bought. I also want you to know all the shops I went in; what I felt when I was there ( Actually, I din't want to come back); and the service and personal attention I received.
